The World of People
Most Malayalis are people who think a hundred times before cutting and selling the trees in their own compound. The main reason for this is the love for trees they have seen and grown up with for generations.
However, different from this, there are also people among us who cut down trees in their backyard and make money. Many of them cut down trees as part of preparing the land for construction activities. But there is no need to cut down such trees. Anish is creating awareness that it is possible to save them by changing their location. He has dedicated his life to this.
Anish gives immortality to trees
A scheme for the scientific and informational study of old trees, built around saving trees by relocating them instead of cutting them down.

Each tree is relocated according to expert advice. Each tree has its own characteristics. Therefore, it has to be moved in a scientific manner. The help of expert workers is also sought for this.
First, they climb the tree and cut off the branches. After that, a pit is dug around the tree and the tree is uprooted without damaging the roots. After that, it is lifted with the help of a crane, loaded onto a vehicle, and taken to another place.

Key point: Usually, trees with a diameter of more than 20-25 cm and a height of more than 20 feet are transplanted. The trees selected for this are moved scientifically without causing any damage.
Along with native species like praav and jackfruit that were widely available in his compound, Anish’s garden also has rare plants.
More than twenty jackfruit varieties
There are more than twenty different varieties of jackfruit trees here. Vietnam Early, Chembarathi Varikka, Sindhoora Varikka, Thailand Red, Gumless Jack, and Then Varikka are just a few of them.
Rare mango varieties
There are also rare mango varieties here. Kilichundan, Kottukonam, Vellari, Chandrakkaran, Moovandan, Priyor, Karpooram, Sindooram, Olor, Neelam, Mallika, Alphonso, and Banganapalli are the main varieties.
Anish with his father Paulose.
Anish was not at all interested in cutting the trees in his own compound. Cutting down trees for various needs hurt Anish a lot.
One day, at the age of 20, the shipping of a rosewood (eetti) tree from his compound outside Kerala for commercial purposes caused Anish great sadness. Although he tried to stop it, he could not. Later, he started thinking seriously about protecting trees.
Today’s venture started from the thought of transplanting the tree instead of cutting it down. For this, he read many books and talked with agricultural officers and experts. Now, Anish has all the modern facilities required to transplant trees on his own.

Anish transplants trees that are centuries old. For this, Anish is ready to go anywhere at any time. The service is available throughout Kerala.
Trees are mostly transplanted in places with road access. This is because large vehicles like cranes and tippers are required to move the trees.
Road access matters because large vehicles like cranes and tippers are required to move the trees safely.
Anish transplants various types of trees. Native trees like jackfruit, mango, anjili, tamarind, rosewood (eetti), teak, mahogany, Indian gooseberry (nelli), golden shower tree (kanikkonna), maruthu, fig (athi), ithi, peepal (arayaal), banyan (peraal), venga, bael (koovalam), kadukka, thanni, nellikka, karingali, red sandalwood, sandalwood, and devil’s tree (ezhilampaala) are the ones that are mostly transplanted.
The help of many people is needed to protect large trees. It is not something one person can do alone. A few people who are interested in protecting trees are with Anish to help.
Anish’s son Kevin has completed his mechanical engineering and is following in his father’s footsteps. Anyone who loves trees can approach Anish. They can ask questions about transplanting trees.
Cost depends on the size of the tree and the distance.
A soil test is also done before planting the tree. It is planted only after ensuring that the soil is suitable for the tree.
There are many trees in our country that are common but are facing extinction. Anish also takes the initiative to protect them. ✆ 9946881099
